A York County, Pennsylvania, artist with a BFA in Illustration from Moore College of Art & Design in Philadelphia, in addition to the King’s Courtyard Collective, Amy is a member of the Philadelphia Artist Collective, The (no name) Art Group, which raises money for local and worldwide charities.
Portraiture is her greatest passion. Says Amy, "Ever since I was young, I have been drawn to the various stories told by the beauty of the face and the figure. Though people often remark how “hard it is” to capture the features and the face, this is what I find most challenging and interesting. The face and the body are complex and soul-revealing, and they tell a story in a glance. and this is what fuels my work. I like to branch out with subject matter now and then, having painted animals and botanical illustrations. The mediums I currently use are acrylic paint and graphite, or ink on both canvas and paper."
